The Brothers Black
So as I'm a total Ravenclaw, I've actually been really looking forward to getting back to classes at the end of September - but I got an email today saying that one of my modules is having a delayed start until November 5th, because the lecturers in Turkey on fieldwork. I mean that's six weeks late. Six weeks, out of a total 12 weeks! Really where are my tuition fees going.
I mean I don't really mind - my personal tutor cancels lectures all the time, so it's nothing new and it will make life a bit easier for the first six weeks as I'll only have four hours of lectures a week so can focus on my dissertation. What's worrying me is for when it starts up. Are we going to do twice the lectures to catch up - because the end of semester is always nightmarishly panicked and busy anyway. Plus six weeks is not very long to get to frips with the two pieces of coursework and one exam that this module is supposed to feature. And I usually organise a battle plan of when all my coursework is due - which will be difficult unless I can find the due dates, which seems unlikely considering the lecturer couldn't even e-mail us herself. Ah well - it'll sort itself out.
Anyway - back to the creativity. Today is another drawing day, so here are pictures of the Black Brothers - Sirius and Regulus. I hope they vaguely look alike but I don't really care because I enjoyed drawing them and yes Sirius is considering the sexiness of his own (oddly shaped) foot - what can I say - he's weird. Bring on the Regulus = Superman jokes (should have thought the 70s style quidditch outfit through more).
