More horribly late at night quick-fic (i.e. riddled with mistakes) - but I rewatched the movie last night and have been reading some awesome fic and I wanted to play. So yep, no point to this story, it goes nowhere - but I had fun writing it. Yay.

Hee! Couldn't resist working in Merlin (because I luff it so) as according to my book on Arthurian Legend it was apparently an early inspiration for the Original Series.

Also I'm glad you liked Scotty and Chekov together because they were totally the first idea for this fic I had - they should be best buddies forever because they're perfect for each other.

The new movie is definitely providing the evil sort of muse - I love it. And yep, Kirk is bizarrely cute when he's drunk - mainly because it makes him full of fail in amusing ways.

Plus Star Trek and Arthurian legend match up so perfectly - I'm hopefully anticipating epic Merlin/Star Trek crossovers (not to mention Doctor Who/Star Trek crossovers - because that has to happen too, surely). :D
