Oh Loracj, this was just adorable! It's left me all warm and snuggly. I loved the way you depicted how everyone else's life was coming together, and there was just one more problem for Ryan to solve in all his wonderful wisdom. And you put in some Marissa love for Mel too, bless you.

You know I'm such a mush pot; I can't help myself. I wanted Ryan to make things better, like we know he would, right?
It also had to have a Marissa mention - a conversation between Julie or Kaitlyn and Ryan probably would, right? If not, it was me writing after all.

Bless Ryan for remembering China (and her alopecia, darnit!). Very nice way of showing Kaitlin the way through her aimless angst. The boy does make a good brother to his various sisters (love the title btw...) in these fics!!!

I'm also very into Ryan/Julie bonding (and not just in that way, no, even if it happens to be one of my fave pairings...) and I like her asking him for help - like she has done, before, for Marissa - and for herself.

Nice.

the geography nazi in me might quibble about the drive down to Newport before the morning mist has risen, though, unless he left around midnight... then again, you Americans think nothing of hopping into the car for a six hour drive so who knows!!!??

I think that Julie would have turned to Ryan for help if TPTB had chosen to send her down the wrong path.

I know - so many of us are appreciating the sibling connection, and I'm enjoying it.

As for the geography, hey, what do I know? I live in New Jersey. The beach is an hour away.
