Did anyone else watch Fringe?

I finally got around to watching it last night - and icky gross scary stuff aside -
I liked it.
Of course, I may be prejudiced by my love of Joshua Jackson. He still plays the somewhat cocky smart ass, and it's still just as sexy IMO.
I like the lead woman, and the concept to come.

Anyone else want to weigh in?

I watched the preairing version a while ago - right before my trip actually.
Which was not the best moment to watch that...considering the scary long distance flight...from Germany...from Hamburg to be more exact to the US (okay it was Boston not Newark, but still...all that was way to close to home at that time)
I'm not sure yet, if I will watch it every week, but I will give it a try for a while at least.
And Joshua Jackson sure grew up nicely.

I'm guessing you wouldn't have watched it before your trip if you had known. I'm glad you didn't show up here like those passengers did. Whew.

I'm gonna try it too - Josh alone is worth the effort, I think.

I saw it, and was disappointed. I think i expected too much, and my X-Files past probably makes it hard on other shows of this genre to really catch me. The cast didn't impress me either (Sorry ;), except for John Noble. I will give it another shot, JJ Abrams earned at least that much from me, but it better get better soon.

I will admit to being disappointed too - if only because they went to the trouble of cramming too much in in too short a time.
But I will keep trying - because I think it has potential.

Sorry-- I was only able to watch about 20 minutes of it. Not even the lure of Joshua Jackson could keep me in it:(

Hey - no apology necessary. It was a little draggy.

Hopefully next week I'll get a chance to watch it.

I think they might have tried too hard to pack in too much in the first ep - so you may be better off picking it up next week.

We liked it, with some reservations. I'm afraid with JJ at the helm, the show will leave me with more questions each week than it answers. If that happens, as with Lost, I will stop watching.

I do however like Mark Valley, and hope that they keep him alive in his dead-ness.

*sneaking in*

I gotta admit, I watched for Mark Valley only (loved Kendoll in Boston Legal) and I was a little bit bummed about him dying... until I saw the ending :-P

I'm sure it will be relatively confusing - I never even tried Lost. But I like Mark Valley too, and Josh can read me the phone book anytime.
