It really doesn't - it's well behaved hair :) I think it's actually less hassle and far lower maintenance than most women's short hair, because I don't have to cut it at all, I don't dye it, I don't blow dry it, I don't style it... All I do to it is wash it, comb it, and then stick it up into a bun that takes all of ten seconds to put up. Now and then I stick some oil on it. :P This and plaiting it for bed largely avoids tangles, which is the most annoying aspect of long hair :)

I'd trip over it XD Also I am tall, so I almost certainly can't grow it that long. Would be awesome though...

Back when my hair was in growth-attrition equilibrium (a bit longer than nipple length, it frayed up from the bottom and got caught in trees) I braided helium balloons into it. I had about 20 tentacles floating out from my head. It was awesome.
