Good evening, folks. This is Superman of the Justice League speaking. You've probably heard from Wonder Woman already, and most likely not heard from Batman. And if I'm wrong on that last score, I'm very sorry. [He gives his best disarming smile. Just teasing, Bruce! At any rate, the reason I'm making this is actually because I have a message ( Read more... )

So you're a "hero of justice?"

Suppose you could call us that. Most people stick with "The League".

The League... huh. So you're here to help people?

That's the idea. Of course, we're not the only group doing that here.

Eeeeh, you mean the Rogues, right?

Brave Vesperia too, and there was a group called the White Lotus a while back... haven't heard from them in a while, not sure what happened.

And all these gangs are for the same thing?

Yes and no. Sure, they're all to help people out and protect them, but we've all got different priorities and different ways of doing things. That's why I haven't suggested a merger.

So how are they all different, that you wouldn't merge with the others?

A few ways, but I think the biggest is the rules we all follow. The League's quite a bit stricter on its members than the Rogues or Brave Vesperia, I think. It comes from having to work with governments back home. I'm not quite as solid on the differences between the other two, but you could ask Adell and Karol. They're the leaders of the Blue Rogues and Brave Vesperia, respectively.

Working for the government...? So you actually are the law, back home.

[He files away those other names though for now]

Well, technically we're outside the law, but we try and keep things on a good level with the governments of the places we go to, so that the police and the army don't get sent out to try and stop us. It's bad enough having to fight our own enemies, we don't want policemen or soldiers getting in the way and possibly getting hurt.

Eeeeeh? That's kind of you, Superman.

We try to be responsible. Of course, here in Luceti there aren't as many of those sort of problems.

Oooh~? That's impressive though; no government at all here?

Nothing. Which isn't really too surprising if you think about it. Who are you going to elect to be in charge, if people can just wind up being whisked away at any time?
