5...6...Here’s a hypothetical scenario

Here’s a hypothetical scenario, say you’re a modest, passive, slightly shy art student and you’re having a dilemma of sorts. Say you met this girl at the beginning of the year in humanities class. Now imagine you’ve been bitter and said high school relationships are stupid since March your sophomore year and you now have nineteen days left of your ( Read more... )

this person that you are speaking of really shouldn't be so hard on themself. I'm sure if he just talked to his band friend he would understand. Honesty is always better than going behind his back. Also, this said person only has 19 days of school left, just go for it, you have nothing to lose...plus, you'll regret it. And you really need to stop comparing every other person to this terrible 10th grade relationship you had...they're not all that bad.

I hope you feel better soon. Good luck with your decision I'm sure everything will turn out all right.

I think you person should go for the girl. I know this band student, and I'm positive he has gotten over his feelings for her. I'm also positive he has Brigadoon when you're going to Ann Arbor with her. Doesn't band rawk? I also recall the band student telling you that you could do whatever felt right with the girl at prom. :) The band student will still be you friend no matter what you and the girl happen to become. But it is just a scenario, no?

P.S. Just because I lost my chance, doesn't mean you have to. I HATE it when people dont act upon something because of someone else's feelings. Regretting not doing something is worse than regretting something you did do.

There was so much vaguely stated in this journal entry I thought my mind was going to turn to mush but that could be the exams talking.

Go for it, if your friend doesn't understand then he wasn't really your friend to begin with, because friends want eachother to be happy no matter what the cost is to them.
