Years ago I mentioned to a (female) coworker that I was particularly ticklish in certain spots, like my side. In response, she said that I needed to learn to get over it because a guy wouldn't find that sexy, if I started laughing during sex.

I didn't say much in response but I remember that it troubled me. All I could think of was, "Why? Why can't sex be funny sometimes? If he knows where it's coming from and knows I'm not laughing at him, why can't it be fun and silly and both of us laughing because we're enjoying ourselves?"

This is an excellent example of that kind of joy and lightness. Very sweet. :)

EXACTLY! Fortunately, I've never been in a position to find out, but I think if I were to be with a partner and I laughed and it turned them off... That for me would be a turn-off, you know? I don't want to have sex with anyone who can't laugh in bed. That, for me, is a deal-breaker.

But like I said, I've never actually had sex with anyone who couldn't laugh with me. So while I'm sure there are guys who can't deal with laughter, I'm also well aware that there are guys who will giggle right along with you. So pooh! to your coworker.
