oops ~ didn't mean for this post to appear to be such a downer! my perspective must be really warped; i thought the turner was kind of cool and foreboding, not actually gloomy!

Completely off the subject, but I was at the library book sale today and grabbed an Émile Zola novel because it reminded me of you. ^_^

The one I got was L'Assommoir. I tried to find more but was unsuccessful. :-/
