new year fun links ~
spiritual matters: welcome to the year of the rat! the year of the pig (my year) is over (i wasn't especially lucky, but i guess i could have been otherwise hit by a bus). and it ended on ash wednesday, which is good for me: start fresh today. went to mass at the university, which was odd ~ first time at a "triage" mass not in an actual church.

You know what? I think I might be a rat. ^_^ But not sure because my birthday is kinda at a weird spot - I'm on the cut off point for the year of the rat and the beginning of the year of the ox, so well, I could be either I guess.
That Book meme is pretty awesome. My current problem right now is that since I am moving, I don't know what to do with my ridiculous amount of books. I've been boxing them up, but I don't see how I'm going to take them along. Unless my parents send them to me, but then I'd still have to pay extra if I brought them with me on the bus, so it'll cost money either way to send them. Oh what a dilemma! I just can't bring myself to let go of any of them.

I love that meme and loved looking at the books--would love to DO it myself, EXCEPT my books are in plastic cubbies out in a covered carport--waiting for their spot in my dining/library room. The books I kept with me are not on shelves but are stacked on every flat surface in the place. Also our camera, the little card dealie that slips into it (where the photos end up), wore out and we need a new one--so camera doesn't work either. sigh.
Liked the graphic novel with the cats.
