[Sad voice.] Back home the two people I knew from Russia were Peter and Illyana, brother and sister. There was a virus that targeted mutants. Illyana died from it. A cure was found but [a pause] it required the death of it's first user. He could have waited for a safer one to be found. He could have. [pause again] He didn't. He injected himself with it knowing he'd die but others would be cured. I left the X-Men after that.

He hadn't really died, they switched his body at the last minute and he was used for testing in an underground facility for years. People in my government knew.

I don't usually condone killing, there aren't many people I would say that about and there's usually always another way. But...well I saw him, I was the one that found him. For that, I would.
