Re the last news item: It's a trap! Don't fall for it, Joe!

There are a number of titles I'm looking to. I just don't know how I feel about the whole thing in particular yet. Maybe it's because I'm not reading Flashpoint. (No money!)

It's a bit late for them to not fall into the trap. They already announced today that they're moving to same-day digital distribution on the Spider-Man and X-Men books... just like DC announced they would be doing for their whole line starting in September.

I have spent most of the night flipping shit on tumblr for a number of reasons, re: DC Relaunch and WInick's continued belief he is a writer. So, thanks for going for snarkery and making me laugh. I will still be fuming, but I will be amused at the same time. It helps.

Other bloggers are on the ground getting interviews I can't get. They're delivering the news faster than me, who is in Texas working my day job all weekend, can manage. All I have to offer is my take on the news, with all the sarcasm I can muster.

I'm gonna miss Secret Six. But since I don't pick up much in the way of regular-DC, I'm planning to ignore much of the sorta-reboot. I am hopeful about the new Abnett/Lanning on Resurection Man since I missed their first run with it. And I'm hopeful that Robinson on The Shade will be like his old self. Like the "resurected" issue of Starman...

Yeah. As someone who works with teenagers, I'm glad to see Static and Blue Beetle are getting their own books. Mr. Terrific looks promising too.

I wouldn't count Secret Six out just yet though. Word from SDCC is that Gail Simone was getting stopped by a LOT of fans to talk about how much they hated the book being scrapped. Odds are they're talking to the editors, too.

Wasn't Roy like, 15 when Lian was born? What is he, 12 now?

Is he the same age as Dick, who don't forget, is old enough to have retired from Robining a whole Three Robins ago.

Officially, Roy was 18-19 when Lian was born. No idea how old he's supposed to be here but I think the company may be showing their age, re: acceptable age to have children.

I think, pre-revamp, Roy was actually the oldest of the original Titans by a year.

And yes, it is rather insane that we have four Robins running around but only ONE Flash and apparently ONE Batgirl.
