Well, I'll look forward to your new blog/lj/whatever.

I am tending to be in the 'Oh noes!' category about this decision by DC. More because I think reboots don't work than anything else. Still, we'll see.....

Well, they keep saying this isn't a reboot. And the evidence put forth by most of the new books coming out does seem to bear that out.

Suffice it to say, with today's announcement, I'm rather anxious to see how they're going to pull off Batgirl #1 without pissing off a LOT of people.

Exactly. I think Ron Marz said it best on Twitter.

"You know, I was gonna go all crazy over some comics coming out in Sept., but then I remembered I haven't read any of them yet."

Granting that going crazy over stuff we can't be sure about is what geeks do... there's no point in swearing blood feuds over anything until we've actually read the books.

Yeah, and I mean, whenever a new creative team comes on (like Johns' Titans, Meltzer's JLA and other stuff from that era), it feels like a reboot anyway. Or, reimagining, perhaps.
