I've thought about getting one of those, but I think I actually like Firefox bookmarks better, because I can tag with whatever crap I want and it still stays relatively organized. *shrugs* But I def troll Delicious a lot to find fic in the first place, though. >D

So I went into the picspam kind of like, in my constant state of irritation at the incessant must-slash mentality that I feel a lot of MCR fans present.

...And then somewhere I realized that it isn't inferred.

This leetle photoshoot gave rise to a whole epic of priest!Gerard fics. (they're not my favorites in the world, but they're pretty good.)

This is one of my favorite picspams that I used to get to know the boys, back when I was getting into bandom. So many pretty pictures! *huggles*

And this one is ALMOST ENTIRELY COMPOSED of Gerard making funny faces. And other band boys making funny faces. ♥

Heh. I'm a little afraid to ask what hi-key would have looked like. XDDDD Also, ENVY. I only really got into them as a band in the last couple of years, and I've been kicking my past self ever since for missing the chance to see their TBP tour.

Okay, I've been staring at the FOB fics I've picked out of my bookmarks for the past few minutes, and they're like the weirdest mixture of pairings and genres imaginable. But they're all good, I assure you, so I'm just gonna go for it.

ROUGHLY IN ORDER BY PAIRING, YAY:
"it may be a side effect of the exposure, but i am thinking it's meant to be" - Pete/Patrick, high school au. >D I know how to hook you by this point.

So, So Fucked - Pete/Patrick, set in straight(lol)-up bandom land. V. v. cute, written by the same person who wrote that patd-high-school-au I recced you. All of her stuff is good, really.

Chord Change - a Pete/Patrick fic in which Patrick has the inimitable power to make entire bands go gay for him, and Pete thinks it's funny.

(I've Loved) Everything About You That Hurts - a bittersweet little gen-ish fic, really nice.

CJ Cregg Never Had This Problem - LOLARIOUS West Wing au. Just read it, you won't regret it.

SO. The first round of reaction comments... Lessee...

The high school AU one was, of course, fucking precious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Like, Pete's semi-stalkery ways and raging emo. Hell yes. And thus was sparked anew my ancient crush/mild obsession with Patrick Stump/Patrick Stump's Voice. asdfghjJUST. SERIOUSLY. Boy can sing. ...Yes, I was listening to their last three albums on repeat like, all night. It was a total party.

Sing Ourselves To Sleep was also precious. Something about the Patrick/Gerard pairing is like, ragingly awesome. Idek. And the little inserts of Frank (duh) and Ray and Bob being all OMG GUYS STFU AND LET THEM HAVE A SUPERSPESHUL MOMENT MKAY? And the idea of Mikey and Pete is like, okay a little weird, but I can totally get behind it. If only 90% because it enables me to spend fifteen minutes picturing Mikey with awesome hair and GLASSES. someday I'll shut up about that, I swearThe Catcher In The Rye one is fun. Okay, so while I was working on figuring out which PATD fics to rec you I also discovered a bunch of awesome MCR and FOB fics that I'd SOMEHOW OVERLOOKED, so have these as an interlude!

These fics are all by mahoni, who is awesome.
Never Did Run Smooth, in which Frank decides it would be hilarious to get Bob and Gerard almost-married in the state of Connecticut without telling them. Bob and Gerard are not amused.

Better When It's Real - in which there is PORN, and it is hot.

The Planets Align You Just Like Mars - early MCR fic, from when Bob toured with them for free because he's awesome that way. &bob;

Aaaand these are more fics by Dira Sudis (dsudis), who is also generally awesome.

Frank Has Died of Dysentery - this is what happens when half of MCR comes down with the Death and Gerard is left on his own for a whole day.

Find Out What It Means - this is a Pete/Patrick fic, and is not so light as the rest of these recs have been. I dunno if you'll like it or not, but the writing is good enough that I'll rec it anyways ( ... )

I'm really trying with A Light To Burn All The Empires, but it's a little soggy, idk. I mean, great writing. Just. We're back to my issues with h/c again.

I'm also manic like a motherfucker tonight, so like. Expect a lot of WORDS if you humor me. ...Sorry. XD Oh, and I'm totally drawing what will probs be your present. SO.

Yeah, I've tried and failed at reading certain stories of hers several times, because I have the same problem with getting bogged down. It's like I have to be in the right mood to get through it if it's really long. *shrug*

Yeeeah, idk. She's great with like, the practical writing aspect, but the subject is just so... Over the top? Like, SUPERDRAMA. Which like, there's nothing wrong with, and I know a lot of people like the shamelessly dramatic stuff, I just keep feeling like I may have outgrown it awhile back.

But then stuff like Jon nearly dying alone at a truck stop completely compensates just by existing.

fuck I'mma need to get some PATD icons just to converse soon, huh?
