The insulation guys came over today, and informed me that my outerwalls were insulated. I say this is sad because it cost me $200 last winter to heat a 800sqft home, and that was keeping it at 68º. Hey, I know the sick feeling of eating into savings. But, that's what it's there for, right? NO REGRETS. I promised myself I would not regret taking seven months off to write no matter the result, I've learned something--gained something immeasurable.
Having a house that heats/cools efficiently? Priceless. :)

that's a lot of money though... ugh.. i guess i should be proud of the fact that I didn't have to get a loan or charge it. its just not working for my stomach though... good news is come tax day, i'll get $750 from the government because i went green...
I got this cousin in-law (real stupid guy, in my opinion), who told me that he liked going green cause that meant green in his pocket. I think he bought into the propaganda, cause my house is going green, and money is only leaving my pocket. 30% of the cost isn't putting money back into my pocket, it already killed me and they think 30% will sustain me on machines... green... haha love the stupidity of that statement... cause to make my house "green" (eco friendly), i'm going "green" (sick)!
