He almost hadn't even bothered coming back. Not just because he'd spent nearly two hours wrangling with the Portalocity booking agents regarding getting a portal to Fandom in the first place; they'd finally, finally relented when Warren flung an absurd amount of money in their direction. The real reason had much more to do with the fact that time passed so much quicker in his own world than it did in Fandom. So every second away was one in which his father's condition could get even worse, and he wouldn't be there in case something happened. And he couldn't help but think that maybe if he'd tried harder to get home in the first place, he could've headeded this whole thing off. But instead he'd stayed behind in Fandom, having fun while Creed's people had been tracking down his father.
He only had about a half hour window before his return portal, and he couldn't afford to miss that, not when god only knew when he'd be able to reschedule a new one. So all his belongings were getting thrown rather haphazardly into boxes; anything that he couldn't pack before he had to go, well. he'd just send for it later. He felt kind of bad about leaving poor Thor-bunny behind, but... Warren wouldn't mind taking care of him by himself, right?
He'd left a
message on Warren's voicemail (after checking
his own, what the hell, Tony), hoping his roommate would make it back to the room before his return portal was scheduled to leave. He didn't really want to leave without saying goodbye, but if he had to? He would.
[ooc: door is open, expecting one roommate, but open for threads set before he arrives (though he wouldn't have called anyone because he's a dumbass)! this is bobby's last post in-Fandom for... a while.]
