Action Quake

This could be very dangerous... Chris Kent, who is not on LJ but some of you might remember as Firefox or Farrel on Babel, has suggested getting the old Quake deathmatch gang* back together to play on the internet... this could be interesting - and most timewasting!

Action quake is generally a lot more fun, as it tends to be a little more strategic. Guns tend to be a lot more fatal (a headshot usually kills instantly) and you have to bandage yourself if you get hurt. Also, if you jump off of something too high you slow down and limp for a while which makes you a sitting duck for the other players (camping f**kers that they are!)
