I didn't let them inside. Besides, what kind of potential criminals would call the cops to back them up?

There was an segment on Cops where a guy called the cops to complain that a women stole 20 bucks from him... because the drugs he bought from her weren't real drugs. O_o

IIRC, both got arrested.

I agree that they were probably casing the area. Also, what pet owner doesn't have a bunch of pictures of their pet? Fur pattern would prove identity beyond sex.

There are some, but they're few and far between.

They claimed to have them, but at no point did I actually see the photos. Which only goes to reinforce my opinion that this was mistaken identity or a scam.

In many ways. It's just that this neighborhood I'm living in (as well as the one I work in) are very trashy areas.

It's not so much funny as surreal.
