I am sorting thru all the fics of the day (damn LJ for not delivering all my notifications) and saw this and I so love you for it. (Yes, my voice is still 1/2 gone, but coming back slowly). You cracked me up throughout this fic, but I gotta tell you, the scene with the radio in the car was totally priceless. Going to Mems so I can read when I need a smile on my face. Glad to hear you're feeling better. By doing this, I got the chance to use the two bits that had been in my head for weeks: the 'right to remain sexy' and the mimed 'book 'em Danno.'

What made me think of the disco torture scene: the 'Sexy Eyes' cargument was repeated last Monday. It was so excellent that it couldn't be a one-time thing.

Adorkable - good word. Has recently made it's way into my vocabulary and totally describes Steve McGarrett (as well as Alex O'Loughlin).

That was so good-so funny,and I could picture Danny saying every one of those things in his head!
I could also easily see Steve torturing him just because he gets to have the last word(or rather,the only word)for a change!

I loved when Danny said that was the last time he'd be saying Danno and came for a while,lol.
And his mantra had me laughing: "They'll never pin it on me!" I understand feeling like that-sometimes people can drive you crazy. :)

The "book 'em Danno" was really sweet,as was Steve kissing Danny in different spots to make it better.

The 'Danno came' bit was a lucky accident. I wrote Steve's lines, then needed a witty Danno retort. I was happy to see, like in life sometimes, someone else gives you the ammunition for a good insult.
