Taruithorn Banquet 2010

I highly recommend it, I do. It is basically as much fun as you can have for a nominal sum in the developed world. :)

Ooh, I really want your tights and your shoes. And maybe your necklace but I suppose that might be too far! Sounds like a lovely evening.

These are the tights! I am far too excited about them. :) It was indeed a very lovely evening.

I love Lord of the Rings. I need to give them a grown-up, literary read now, especially after encountering the academic Tolkien in my graduate manuscript studies; but on a level that's purely for enjoyment, they are magical. I first read them when I was nine, and I fell totally in love. So of course I'm sort of jealous, but mostly really ridiculously excited, that you get to go to Taruithorn. :D

Also: om-nom-nomnivore made me snort. XD

Ack, you make me feel bad! Taruithorn is really, really wasted on me - I'm part of it 'cause it's where the cool kids hang out! It's actually a very traditional, worthy, literary university society; I think I perhaps give the wrong impression of it because I always go to the bonfires and banquets and get drunk a lot. :)
