That Police/kanye West thing was pretty bad. I think this YouTube comment captured it best:
Is it just me or does Mr. West look like a retard that just happened to wonder on stage. The stage security thought he was funny so they just left him there.

I'm wondering if this was worse than that time Puff Daddy had Sting come out on stage during that "tribute to Biggie Smalls" where Puffy used Every Breath You Take as background music. Yuck!

My dad loved the black and gold church entry on Carbolic blog too. I LOL at least once every time I look at that site.

And OMG, the "Brazil" cover!!!!! Every time I see the Visa commercial where they play that song, I wish I could listen to the Guster version at that moment. AND NOW I CAN, iffy sound quality or not.

I'm sure there are better versions out there; tons of shows from this year are available online. I just rarely bother to download live show because, you know, I hear 'em enough. But when I saw this version I remembered that crowd reaction and wanted to see if I could hear it. :)

I'm pretty sure it's just Mike's friend getting married. I guess Chad's being nice and including him as "our" friend? All I know is Mike is very concerned and has reminded us several times that we can't book any shows on the day of his friend's wedding, which wouldn't be a concern if it was a friend of all of the band.

No, I don't know if Rhett and Dave ever met up at all! I know they played phone tag all day.

BUT! I know both Petes (Dispatch Pete and HYN Pete) are getting married soon. Actually, HYN Pete may already be married? I don't know, it was supposed to be this summer.

That's not who they were talking about, but I just figured if you were hoping for some info on Chad's friends you might know... there it is. ha.
