1. terrajen, I don't think you ever mentioned that the garlic flavor of the Rice Noodle Bowls is SO SUPER GARLICKY. I'm dying of garlic poisoning. Or maybe it's my breath bouncing off the computer screen and back at me. Must find a mint ( Read more... )

Well, if/when you have a baby, I will surely announce it here.

But I don't think it's self-centered, especially because your spelling (and Dalton's wife's) is the less common version, it's sure to jump out at you. My eyes always pick out double Zs, but it's usually "pizza," not "Lizzie." haha.

Hey, What are three really good Cary Grant films? I miss watching him. Except I only ever truly loved was North by Northwest. Oh Roger, if only I was as suave as you.

This is more than three, but I don't know which you've seen! lonelyholiday November 28 2006, 22:45:37 UTC
Well, my top favorites are all on the romantic comedy side: The Philadelphia Story, His Girl Friday, Bringing Up Baby, and the Awful Truth. The humor in those is hardly even dated, I think. Love them.

Other good ones if you haven't seen them are To Catch a Theif and Charade. Or Arsenic and Old Lace. Or you might like Only Angels Have Wings, where he's sort of an action hero.

That is, if those are not among the movies you've already seen and didn't truly love. I feel that way about some of his stuff, like Notorious (which everyone loves, but sort of bored me), but he's so great that I'll watch him in anything once. :)

I've seen:

His Girl Friday (loved it), Bringing Up Baby (don't really remember), To Catch a Theif (loved it) and Arsenic and Old Lace (don't really remember it).

I have a feeling that the ones I 'Don't Really Remember' are the ones I wasn't too excited about. It sounds like I need to see The Philadelphia Story though. It was top on your list.

Thanks, not sure when I'll get to watch any of these, but I hope it's soon.
