so i had it in my head that this was The Year I would finally start paying attention to birthdays, and i was thoroughly ready to catch yours, when i discovered -- not for the first time-- that i've still got the wrong phone number for you, which I hope just means I'm not a phone person. (to vindicate this, i can safely say i receive approxiamtely 8 calls a week, 75% of which are from my boyfriend and my mom. Gah!) In any case, I s'pose it's better late than never to say, "Happy Birthday!!!" Or Bonne Fete a toi. Or something in some other language along similar lines. Hope it was a good one. I have to say that 25 hasn't been the best age for me, but it did involve culinary school and finally getting a job doing something remarkably similar to something close to what I might sort-of like to do, so I guess it wasn't a total wash. And I've still got a month left, so who knows...Oh, and now you can properly rent a car. Still haven't done that, but it sounds like fun. Ah well, Happy Belated B-day and hope to see you in the not-so-
