Hmm, a question to Persona 4 players (lulz the majority of my flist):

Did you actually go and learn how fusion actually works, so you can make smart fusions or do you just go mixing personas together and see what cool persona you get?

I'm just curious. I've been reading a FAQ on fusing and I think I just got cross-eyed.

Basically when I get new personae (from running around in a dungeon etc) I just go to the velvet room and see what new ones i can get with them from fusion, I don't really think about what makes what unless I need a specific one.

and yes omg chie's skills suuuuck. i was soooo bothered by her lack of bufudyne.

YES. BUFUDYNE. WHY THE HELL DOESN'T SHE HAVE IT.

I'm not big on Physical skills. And it's not like she has good support skills either. And hell, I even like her and I tried using her to see what cool skills she can get, but SHE DOESN'T GET THEM. Maybe some of the late skills are better, but as of now, pfft even Kanji and his small SP are better :|

IDK, some of the later skills she gets are brutally awesome (God's Hand, etc) especially if you combine them with buffs. And sometimes physical is my only choice x_x So I've always kept her in my party, basically. It's been Yosuke, Yukiko and Chie the whole time, so I feel bad for everyone else who is still at like level 50 LOL.

Chie's actually the one who always helped me most at boss fights, besides Yukiko xD Vorpal Blade is awesome, but you can't compare it to power charge+tarukaja+hand of god

Also... I usually just mix in everything I have, and take some new personae from shuffle times if I'm missing anything. I remember some of the personae needed for strong persona that's worth to keep but that's it

I guess I can't comment on those because I don't have those skills. (Vorpal Blade and Hand of God) But using her for random battles can be fairly disappointing, since she doesn't have extraordinary Ice skills or support skills, and can make little damage in that area.

Well, She does have Tarukaja, that's something if anything :) If you don't have Hand of God or Agneystra yet, any other phsical skill can work. Can't remember what' her second strongest skill though... and a power charge mixed in will help
And Chie really kicked in a lot of my critical hits besides Yukiko, so I guess I just really like using her

I don't use Chie. PROBLEM SOLVED LOL.

And on the fusions, I try and do smart fusions once in a while, though I haven't really done it in P4 a lot. Mostly I just mix and see what cool stuff comes up.
