I'm unhappy with my life.

The grocery store did not have any T-Bone steaks today, so technically it's a Sirloin Thursday, but I'm not going to let that get in the way of tradition.

The steak came out great.  The mushroom sauce needed work.  My timing was slightly off and the toasted nut orzo cooled off slightly before I could eat it.
All in all a successful T-Bone Thursday

Midnight Bicycle Ride #4:

Cloudy night - but what does it matter?  It's night-time anyways.
Rode out to the 24-hour pizza place.  Got some pizza.
Rode back.

It was more pleasant than I make it sound, really.

New haircut this morning.
Trip to the optometrist this afternoon.  Getting new frames glasses and also contact lenses.  Does anyone know if regular citizens can get their hands on the special dilationizing eye-drops that optometrists use?

Technically it's already T-Bone Thursday again!  I'm a tad psyched.

Fortunately:  I did not set off the smoke detector.
Unfortunately:  If there ever is a real fire in this house, it probably won't either.

Got a job tree-planting this summer.

No-one has been to the moon in over 34 years.

The wireless connection at my house is terrible.  It's been working maybe an average of an hour a day for the past week.
I've resorted to sitting in my car with my laptop just to get my neighbor's signal.  If anyone walks past and asks what I'm doing I'll just tell them that I am on the "information superhighway."

Midnight Bicycle Ride #1:

Crisp clear night.  Somewhat cold.  Moon visible.  Low traffic - maybe two or three taxis in total.
Moments where I felt like I owned the town.
Short circuit around the block.  Wobbly start, steadier towards end.
Entirely enjoyable.  Looking forward to next time.
