Polaris: Day One, Entry Two: the rest of the day

Okay, so technically it's Day Two because it's past midnight (and I have now been up for nineteen and a half hours after going on roughly five to five and a half hours' sleep O.o ) but this is the first time I've been able to post, thanks to a combination of Busy Times and Internet Connection Problems

They are scary. Especially when you're at the ninth floor, because that's an awful long way down.

Curvy escalators are cool! I've never seen one before.
