Day 57

Oct 11, 2007 02:31

I've just spent the last hour typing up this review, so you damn well better enjoy it.

First though, I have to talk about how events conspired against me today.  I left for London on the 8 to 3PM train thinking I wouldn't get to Liverpool St before 3:40.  Well, I get to the station and head over the Central line to catch the tube to St. Paul's, ( Read more... )

I read it; all :) I'm glad you gad such a great time and everything sounds amazing. My family and I were planning on seeing this show in NY when we were there, but tickets were sold out like for a month or so, so we couldn't see it :(

I love their chemistry (not talking about the actors because I don't know them, just about Phantom/Christine). And they sound hawt hawt :))

I read it all. :]

Ramin sounds wonderful! I loved everything you described about him. I'm positively dying to see his performance, but unfortunately, there's no way I could get to London in time to see him. I'll just wait for a video, lol.

Well, he's only just started so I'd say he'll be in it for the next couple of years. Who knows? You might make it over here. :)

I read it and it sounds absolutely amazing. Personally, I am soooo spoiled. Unless I am sitting super close (i.e. first 1-3 rows) I don't enjoy a play or musical as much. I think it's a completely different and much more intense and engaging experience when you are that close.

So glad you had a great time - the stage door experience was cool.

I am such a stalls whore, it isn't funny. Unless it's something I just have to see, I won't go unless I can get a rather good seat in the orchestra. It depends on the show you're seeing. It's definitely the case with Phantom (I've never seen it from anything less than 15 rows back). The first time I saw The Last Confession I bought seats for the Grand Circle but that was because the show was closing the very next week. I ended up going back the following week with a ticket for the 6th row. I spend a lot of money on theatre tickets.

Brilliant time! The SD would have been better had I been able to help with that guy. I feel terrible about it and although I keep telling myself that I had no food and no money (and my debit card is pretty much worthless over here cause it's not chip and pin) I still feel incredibly guilty.

Yep. I often buy a single seat just to sit as close as possible. My daughter (who I have spoiled already in her young life in this regards) and I don't mind splitting up if need be.

I don't think you should feel guilty as there was nothing you could do and others were able to help, but I can understand how you might.
