I could not believe the news today that Heath Ledger has died.

I do not even know what to write about it, other than it is a terrible shock and that no one this young should ever, ever die. It is against the laws of nature. I am sorry that this young man did not receive the help he obviously needed and that a great talent was lost. It is such sad

I know what you mean London. I felt the same way when I heard the news. It's such a complete waste of what seemed like a pretty nice guy who was very talented. I'm sorry that he felt like he needed drugs to fill whatever void was in his life and I too feel for his friends and family.

It is awful that so many young Hollywood stars turn to drugs. Everything contributes to it - the stress, pressure, exhaustion, worldwide success... He must have always been so far away from any kind of support system. It is very sad.
