An evening of food and laughter

Last night we had dinner with 5 neighbours (they all live 2 streets up from us).  Lynne and Jennifer invited us round and Bob(by) and Neil, and Alex were the other guests.

It was a fantastic evening!! The food was lovely (chicken roast dinner with all the traditional trimmings such as Yorshire puddings; mini raspberry pavlovas and cheesecake) but ( Read more... )

That and "mobile" are the two main words I learned in England. ;{)}

MINGE turns out not to be acceptable in American Scrabble but it is in British Scrabble.

Heh. :{)} In competitive games most of the naughty words are valid. I won a game against a nice old lady in part by putting NOSY in the lower left corner and C*NT in the lower right.
