I am sad that I seldom pull out my camera anymore. I just use my cell phone for pictures. The cell doesn't offer nearly the quality of photo my Canon camera does. I love the whimsical quality displayed in the umbrella photo!

My friend Steve and I are planning a huge trip for 2017. We plan to go to Tuscany among destinations. Any out of the way places we should consider visiting?

I've become a bit lazy myself, preferring my compact to the DSLR.

Tuscany is jam-packed with beautiful towns and villages, and it's a delight to explore. I assume you'll be hiring a car?
I may have a few ideas for you on my journal:

Are you planning to travel via London by any chance? It'd be great to meet up, and you are very welcome to stay with us.

I adore Rome. To Turn a corner and be confronted by fluted columns dating from 1AD or to wander the cities squares and fountains at night - so romantic. Your accommodation looks brilliant. So nice you could enjoy Rome together. Gx

Oh yes, I love Rome. Sometimes I almost panic at how much there is to see! LOL
Big hugs!

I'm loving these photos. I have been to Roma many times, the last with Paul when we rented an air bnb apt in Trastevere. Campo di Fiore and the surrounding area is one of my favourite parts of the city, so it is interesting to see it in Winter.
