Mallorca - Day 4

Day 4 was Adrian's birthday. I had planned a little boat trip for it.
The weather didn't look too promising while we were having breakfast at the hotel but we decided to press on with the trip.

We drove to Port de Sóller, parked the car and caught the boat to Sa Calobra and the Torrents de Pareis.

A fascinating traveloque. I had not heard of either Sa Calobra or the Torrents de Pareis, so this was an eye-opener for me. I shall want to visit there if I am lucky enough to return. The castle in Palma has a terrific location, and the views (as you say) are spectacular, but, otherwise, I didn't find it especially interesting--but maybe it just took me to long to get there. I really do want to return to Mallorca, now: you should work for the island's tourism agency! Glad the sun came out for Adrian's birthday. He looks suitably happy.

Mallorca is really not so far from where I live. It looks much more beautiful and wild than I would have expected. What a lovely way for Adrian to celebrate his birthday. Hope you are both well xoxo
