Palma is one of my favourite small cities, anywhere. I love walking the many different neighbourhoods and nearly always being able to view the sea in the distance. I got to know the local bus system very well while I was visiting, and used it to get out of the centre into some fascinating areas. Like you, I went off-season, so the traffic was minimal and the beaches nearly deserted. Mind you, it wasn't very warm, but considerably nicer that it was in Toronto at that time of year (late November). I'd love to return, and take Paul with me. I took the train trip to Soller, btw, and was interested but not fascinated. It was a nostalgic way to travel, pleasant and convenient both. Thanks for your pictures. You make the Cathedral look more impressive than I remember it. The Guadi additions are so obvious, aren't they? Did you like them?
