Such a lovely, newsy post: my goodness, you both have been busy. I had seen a few of the photos of your tea with Richard and Greg in a post by Adrian on facebook, but it was good to see your portraits of Greg, which are excellent. I'm sure he will want copies. As usual, the food all looks delicious. I would love to tour the exhibition about the advent of impressionism. And the musical sounds like fun: is it successful enough to win a long run, do you think? Thanks for the post, and for sticking with LJ.
I was personally a bit disappointed that Sweden won but I have to say that the way it came across on the TV did make it stand out from the staging of the rest of the songs!
I can't take my eye off that cake!! I'm glad you enjoyed "Women on the Verge". Though it starred Patti Lupone here, it was a flop.
I'm always amused by the hoopla surrounding the Eurovision competition. There some quality to the production ... and to a lot of the music ... that I can't quite put my finger on that is off putting to me. So many of the songs seem like mediocre pop ....
I have a wish one day to be a charming guest in your home! :)
