Good gracious!! I completely understand ... between the fairs and the parties, when did you have time to work?! A couple of the Christmas decor photos would be nice in the next calendar. I've never seen anything like the spread for the afternoon tea!! How festive!! Well done, gentlemen!
Thanks for the fulsome update. I was beginning to fear that you, like so many others, had given up on LJ for good. That would be okay, I guess, if you decided to move on, but where else would you post all your wonderful photos? Speaking of which, the food porn in this post is even more yummy than usual. I love the way that you both take time to decorate your goodies so that they look as delicious as they taste. Honestly, there is so much to look at in your beautiful home that when you add the tables of food the environment is almost overwhelming...at least in these pictures. I like the way you have rearranged the main serving table to provide more space in the dining-room. Perhaps because there were fewer guests this year, the room almost looks more spacious. But no matter how crowded it gets, people always enjoy each other's conviviality when they visit your humble abode--as they should, with so much food and drink to relish
