Trentino-Alto Adige - Day 1

Day 4 of our holiday was entirely spent in Trentino-Alto Adige or Trentino-Südtirol or Trentino-South Tyrol which is the northernmost region in Italy. These region became part of Italy only after WWI; in the southern part most people speak Italian as their first language, while in Alto Adige they speak German. Lovely photos once again! Very much enjoyed!

I'd love one of those cocktails right about now, lol...

1. I found the image of the archaic fluorescent lights on inside of the ancient building oddly compelling!

2. How was the car - did the noises stop?
(Slap me here....well, it was a Fiat, LOL!)

Oh yes, the noises stopped. We thought it was a scraping noise but it turned out that it was the tools in the boots that were rattling. Phew!

I feel very cultured after reading this post. I've not been to this part of Italy. I really wish I could see it.

Who else would capture a photo of Triton in silhouette with a spider web caught between tines? :)
