Life is a cabaret, old chum!

It feels naughty to go out on a Monday night but that's exactly what we did!

Adrian met me outside the office and we went to The Ivy for a pre-theatre dinner.

Sounds like a great night out. Glad you enjoyed. I've never dined at The Ivy. When I'm rich I'll have to give it a whirl. Do you get any looks when you start photographing your food?

Oh, you don't need to be rich to eat there... well as long as one sticks to the set menu, as we did!

No, I don't think that anyone really looked while I was taking the photos.

It was a very slick production, naughty (nudity/lots of leather shorts rubbed very provocatively) but nice.

I saw a production of "Cabaret" in Houston about four years ago which pushed the naughty quotient and it received all kinds of criticism for being obscene. Americans can be so puritanical. We'd rather keep our sex hidden and illegal.

Looks like a lovely night out!

We've been to a couple of operas at Covent Garden more 'obscene' than Cabaret! lol

It was a fun evening.

I didn't even know that there is such a thing as a blood orange, so I had to google it. :)
