Such a glorious sunny day: the small garden near the office was full of people enjoying their lunch break. Spring - one almost dares say summer - is here!
So here are a few pictures of spring flowers taken at home at the week-end
Your flowers are lovely. I am so envious; we have 12 cm of snow at the moment, and cold enough weather that it will last at least another week. Normally, by the beginning of April, the Spring flowers are poking through the ground but, this year, it's difficult to see if they are there.
I'm sure your tea will be lovely, as well as perfectly timed. Paul, though no Royalist, loves "Queen Elizabeth cake;" perhaps you'll be serving that too?
Btw, did you see "The King's Speech"? If so, I wonder what you thought of it.

Your bulbs and flowers look so lovely, Franco. Alas most of those beautiful spring flowers just don't grow here very well at all due to the heat.

The bulbs around England are amazing this year, due to the cold weather.

It's always lovely to see the flowers coming back after winter, just like old friends.

But can Paul digest the cake? LOL!
We've never heard of this cake... I googled it but got different type of recipes.
Have you ever made it?
Oh yes, we saw "The King's Speech". We thought it wonderful!
