We spent all three nights of our mini-holiday in Lucca. We had been before but it's always a pleasure to get reacquantied with this beautiful walled city.

Again, such wonderful photograps. (I particularly like the night-shot of the shrouded carousel.) And they do take me back. (I swear that you took some of the same shots that I did!) I envy you being there at this time of year. Even though it would not be as green as when we were there (October), the emptiness would more than compensate. Lovely.

We do rather enjoy to go to places when it's quiet: it makes it all a bit more magical!

It's been too long since I last visited Italy and I definitely want to go back there. Your photos don't help me remain patient ^_^
