It's Adrian (london1952 )'s birthday on Monday and I'm taking him away on a surprise week-end trip (leaving tomorrow and coming back on Monday night).

I told him that we're going to Bognor Regis but of course we could be going somewhere completely different (bluff) or indeed there (double bluff) [and the writing of this post has now made it into a triple/ ( Read more... )

Aww. Your such a lovely guy. Is it telling that for 2004 you simply put 'Sitges' with no additional commentary..?

I don't really remember what did during the day.
We were staying outside Sitges and had a car, so we might have gone somewhere.

SPOOKY !!! I must have been doing my post as you were doing this !! then I was just reflecting on what we had done on previous years.... and have to admit that a couple of year's event were a bit hazy! and here I find "the list" - what a lucky thing I am indeed !!

What wonderful outings you have given Adrian. I know how much he enjoys them, and how excited he must be as hs anticipates "Bognor Regis."

We loved having you visit in 2008, and it was great fun to dine at "Fire on the East Side" the evening of Adrian's birthday...although I recall that the cajun cuisine did not rise to its usual standard. I hope you two can celebrate another birthday here with us some time.

Meanwhile, good luck with your current surprise. I, too, look forward to learning what it is.
