Facts and opinions about Malta

- People are, in general, friendly, laid back and polite
- But when they are behind the steering wheel, they turn into Italians (although with almost no honking) (One of the guidebooks advised against driving in Malta so it wasn't as bad as anticipated)
- It is the smallest country in the European Union (316 km2, 122 sq mi.)

I've ridden my bike right across Lichtenstein (the long way, the short way it's mountainously uphill). If you start the right direction (riding your bike across Lichtenstein) it's all downhill.
