On the way home (from the dentist's)

I only worked half day today as I spent half of the afternoon at the dentist's.
Well it wasn't as bad as I anticipated although by the time the dentist and the hygienist had finished, I had a bit of a headache and felt I needed some fresh air.

I used to go there all the time for a walk when I lived in London.

When was that, and how long were you here for?

Yes it's a lovely park, but don't really go there often.

Such lovely views! To my chagrin, I've only been in London one time, on the way back from Cairo, Egypt. My memory is of dashing into the city from the airport with five cast mates from "Showboat", jogging past most of the sights and taking in "Starlight Express". My colleagues slept through the entire performance, even though the actors were roller skating over our heads. Not too surprising, since we'd been up 33 hours when we started our tourist adventure.

Thanks for sharing!

You should have all borrowed the actors' skates for the sightseeing! lol!

I'm not surprised that your colleagues fell asleep.

You'll have to visit again (and for longer) one day!

So you survived the visit to the dentist. :)

What are those little white birdies next to the swans and ducks in the water?
