Oh, lovely strikes!!!! We were kind of missing some of them from the UK, being only the French the ones that keep up the spirits and fuck the rest of us who would be fired (legally, of course) if we went on strike

I know... when it comes to public transport, they seem to be able to go on strike any time they want to.

Good luck with the travel. I am leaving this Saturday for North Carolina, nearly a 3000 mile round trip by car. Yes I am driving this year, but will stop to see friends on the way there and back.

Here is hoping the strike does not wind up as bad as feared...

The BA strike hit the TV news tonight, here in Canada. I hope you don't have too much trouble. The new Italian trains sound super.
