I was surprised that Draco told Harry to go with Rask. Maybe he didn't think Harry was going to be in too much danger? And it seems like it's going to be hard to keep Harry from his fascination with dangerous situations.

He hoped giving in this one time would make Harry more careful, that Harry would see Draco didn't want to confine or restrict him unnecessarily, but only wanted to keep him safe. Now that it doesn't seem to have worked- Harry didn't get injured the other times- they are going to have a talk.

She's a Ministry liaison working with the Dragon-Keepers to ensure Britain gets its fair share of dragon Potions ingredients. That comes out in the next chapter.

Yes, the handlers are basically in love with dragons and don't always react the way "normal" people would to them, or the danger they represent.

Ooh, loved the action sequence! The dragon was reminiscent of a cat going after a particularly slippery mouse. Ha ha!
