And so our lovely boy finally understands the meaning of the mantra, 'work smarter, not harder'. I'm enjoying Harry's sense of the dramatic. I wonder if he's ever read Peter's Evil Overlord List. *grins* He might enjoy it at this point. Loving the way he's further hamstringed the DoM - he really has been lenient with them and this time, he's got witnesses, so if he's further forced into swatting them permanently, they won't' get much sympathy from others. Especially when it's obvious that Harry has left the rest of the Ministry and wizarding public alone when they've done the same to him and his. Draco has much to be proud of - both he and Harry have come a long way in a very short span of time.
So who will be stupid enough to set off the trap in the new Veela wards? You've intrigued me and it would be a treat to see what they actually do...

From now on, he's going to be a lot more proactive, although at least one major reactive incident is left.

I don't recall when Draco graduated from being Candidate Malfoy to Minister-elect Malfoy. When was the election?

Technically, there hasn't been an election, but there aren't any other candidates still running. Hence people treating it as a fait accompli.
