It was beautiful and harsh and painful and everything I had hoped for when I gave you that prompt. Thank you so very much for not flinching from the bitter man Snape was at the end of the books and how that would relate to his portrait.

Love is such a small word for how I feel about this fic.

Thank you so much. I was really hoping you'd like it, and that both versions of Snape would feel IC to you, because for me, it's often difficult to go back to an older story that's finished and still make them IC.

I really liked this, what a great idea. Portrait Snape is so sad. I am glad that he didn't convince Snape to reject Harry. I really like Harry's and Snape's relationship.

I agree it was sad, but I don't think there's any way he could have convinced Severus to reject Harry. They've been through too much fire and war together.

Minerva values them. The problem is trying to get portrait!Snape to see himself as valuable, which is much harder to do.
