Riddle is not all that interested in educating Harry unless Harry makes some effort to indicate interest, only in teaching him enough that he doesn't interfere in the war or cause problems.
... I love this so much... I just gotta come to terms with the fact that this story's updating is going to be a fairly rare treat ;_; *is the type of person to devour an interesting book in a single night*. I also think this'd be a fascinating plot basis for an original and maybe even publishable novel.
I think a lot of the twists I have planned depend heavily on the HP canon universe and the contrasts with it that this story presents, but someday, maybe I can write a novel based on a different kind of thing.
Interesting, though like Harry, its hard to wrap my head around. Are (this world's) Harry's parents still alive? Great chapter. I keep wondering why Harry doesn't just leave this world. It seems there are too many factors to distrust about this one. The Draco thing was interesting, but I don't trust Riddle now that he knows so much about Harry (and because he knows that Harry has the Elder Wand).
No, they're dead. Harry finds out why next chapter.
Harry would have to go back to the site of King's Cross to leave. Besides, he's still sort of hoping that he can make this world a home, or learn why he was brought here.
