His father’s ego was big enough and really didn’t need any more stroking,
Pot said to kettle XD Draco doesn't respect Lucius at all, does he?
I'm glad Lucius was able to help. Let's see what happens now! I guess Draco's plan is going well but does he already know where's Harry hiding his "heart"?
Not really! He would if he thought Lucius had any concrete plans to make Draco obey him, but he really doesn't. He's just going off intimidation and luck that doesn't work any more.
He doesn't, but he figures that the guardian is going back there, and he'll ride along.
It is making sense now, thank goodness; I had worried I was losing the plot. Lucius is a nice bit of comedy (a SMEAR against the decor LOL). The idea of Harry spending two days hammering at the wards cracks me up. Such a zombie thing to do! I appreciate you referring to the monster inside Harry that way, and as an "it". I like that Draco has no trouble confusing the two. He is arrogant but honest with himself. Fun chapter.
Yes, the guardian inside Harry is more like a zombie than anything else. But Draco never confuses it with the real Harry, who he has come to know as much more emotional. Maybe if Harry was still under the full influence of the chain ritual and acting like a zombie, that would be more of an issue.
Draco is completely and totally awesome! No, seriously. It amuses and surprises how "cruel" Draco is to Lucius. I can't wait. Only two more chapters! NO! lol. I had been looking forward to this story since you first announced it. It hasn't disappointed. Wonderful job.

Sorry, all good things must come to an end. I hope the last two chapters are worth it, at least.
