Thank you! I hope the next chapter is worth it. (I think it will be, but...)

Thank you!

Harry is practical before anything else with food! He wants to make sure it smells as well as tastes good. :)

Oh wow I loved the weird shark snake thing how creepy.

The ending with that amazing cliffhanger has me anxious for more.

What an ending. Just like the tales of Scherezade, keep 'em guessing. Exciting adventures.

Oh I've got really gleefully excited goosebumps! I mean, a severed human hand is awful, and I'd probably be retching if that were me confronted with it, but it presages such adventure I can't help squirming in my seat in anticipation.

As much as I love the setting of the Harry Potter universe, it's really nice to read something different once in a while. The whole feel of this story is such a refreshing take on Harry and Draco; it's almost like a much more magical, romantic, and adult Swiss Family Robinson tale (which I absolutely devoured as a child, so that part of me, especially, is extremely pleased). Little things like the fact that we see not too much wand magic used, as the story is from Harry and Draco's POV - I realised with a jolt when Draco used his wand that I'd completely forgotten they HAD wands they could use - makes it seem like a completely different universe. Which it kind of is, I guess. But not. It's like a completely original story but with characters I've known and loved for years ( ... )

Thank you! Draco does have a bad reaction to it in the next chapter.

Draco is abandoning his wand more and more, even though he scolds Harry about doing so, but when it comes to something he thinks can be handled with a simple charm, he's more likely to use it. I like what you're saying, though, and it is nice to be able to write something different once in a while.
