My fingers hurt from gripping the edge of the desk!!!! OMG this was intense! DIE, Andromeda, DIE! Entry to the crypt was awesome. Really cool. Harry is brilliant! LOVE him so much in this! I love Draco's reaction to the destruction of the wall. LOL! Such a Malfoy.
Julia is totally awesome! I'd squish her if she wasn't... gory.
I really should wait until I’m not at work to read your updates. :D My coworkers can only take so many shouts, and groans and clapping of hands. But I’m so greedy for more that I can’t help myself. Poor Harry being literally carved to pieces. I keep reminding myself that most of his wounds can be magically healed - then I start thinking about scars and I want to weep. I was so excited when Julia said that she would help Draco I couldn’t help myself from shouting. I’ve not moved through so many extreme emotions due to a reading in a long time. (Thanks for that.) Andromeda’s madness is brilliantly written. I applaud Harry’s efforts to draw her away from the children and tempt her with ‘memories’ of Tonks. I love the fact that even though he ‘knows’ that Draco can’t help save them, he’s still filled with hope at the possibility. And OMG - Draco’s ancestors… I don’t even have the words. On the edge of my seat for more.
Do any of them ever come over to see what you're reading? ;)
The wounds, individually, are small, and can probably be healed without scarring. Harry is more worried about the psychological effects on his children at this point.
Glad you liked Julia! I wondered if I should have spent more time describing the magic in the crypts, but I also wanted to show how Harry tried to outwit Andromeda.
I have turned several people on to your writing in particular - and to HP fanfic in general. Of course there are those who I have to quickly change the page to hide what I'm reading.
And Yes - I forgot to mention my heartbreak that the children had to see Harry being tortured. Hopefully they won't have to see any more bloodshed. And where are Narcissa and Teddy? - didn't Andromeda say that he was with her sister?
What Harry felt wasn't so much a lack of faith in Draco as a reluctance to leave his own rescue up to him. Harry's always been intent on rescuing himself and the people close to him and vulnerable, after all, rather than depending on someone else to do it. And he thought that Draco's mind might be breaking apart by then.
Andromeda has no idea what's going on at this point. She'll be terrified when the Malfoy ancestors appear.
One thing Harry is good at is seizing opportunities. In fact, he may actually work better when he doesn't have a plan as such.

Draco doesn't see why his ancestors can't respect their home, that's all.
Julia was just going to be a golem-statue at first. But I like the gory figure behind the metal better.

When I got to martial arts practice later, I'll pretend the punching bag is Andromeda. Noes!
