ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! I loved everything about this fic! Draco's true love for Astoria was a great touch and Harry's handling and understanding to not push during his time of grief was wonderful. I also liked how you allowed the time of a year to pass before anything progressed. It was realistic in enough time for Draco to deal with his grief but not too much to lose touch with the bond. You rarely find such depth and plot in a oneshot without it seeming forced and rushed, but you achieved both perfectly. Bravo!

I thought a year was about the right amount of time. It would allow Draco to come to terms with having another mate as well as some time to get used to coping with the loss of Astoria.

This sort of made the veela bond not seem so atrocious. Also, you gave them time, time to get used to it, time to decide. I really like that about it. Nicely done!
